Graves and Newt insist on having Credence sleep between them (not that he mids) so he can be showered in love and affection.
Graves will kiss his temple, while his hand rests above Credence’s heart (he will never admit it, but feeling the boy’s heartbeat always lulls him to sleep). Newt, on the other hand will ususally run his hand through Credence’s hair, lightly scraping the scalp. The first time he did this, Credence let out a small mewl as his body started feeling all tingly so Newt made sure to do this every night. Also, since Credence is still not very used to having so much food available, he will normally eat too much for dinner and get an upset stomach, so Newt always makes sure to massage his tummy.
Since the house is heated and the bed covers are very warm, Credence gets very hot at night. He never really remembers waking up in the middle of the night and removing all his clothes, settling back to sleep right away.
How could Graves and Newt resist waking up to the sight of their naked, sometimes hard and very sweaty baby?
