So, new Fantastic Beasts were released. What I have to say about it:
I’m grateful to J.K. Rowling for not including Graves in this film and, hopefully, future one too. This woman spoils everything she touches and I think it will be better if Graves stays as product of our collective imagination.
Too bad there is no escape for other characters.

If Percival thought seeing Credence’s smile would break all emotional barriers he imposed on himself, then the fact that Credence tries to hide his smile with a slender hand, his eyes twinkling and shy as he peers sideways, melts his heart to it’s core until Percy sweeps him into his arms and presses his rough cheek into Credence’s soft one to mutter corny devoted confessions against a red ear (ﾉⁿヮⁿ)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
It was nothing much, really, some stupid story of that one time he and Seraphina tried to hex Professor Warwick’s walking stick so it would quack every time it hit the ground, but it made Credence laugh in earnest in Percival’s lap, graceful palm covering Credence’s mouth as he tried to overcome his amusement. He looked young and almost carefree and it made Percival feel younger too, his tired heart skipping a beat when Credence’s head rested on his arm, the boy’s whole body shaking. Someone could think it was forbidden to have to a good time, so desperate was Credence’s attempt to muffle the sound.
It probably was, Percival thought, back in the day before he took Credence with him, away from the place he had to call home, and it made his heart sink. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to make Credence forget it - he’d gladly wipe the memory off, even if it meant removing himself from Credence’s mind too. He only wanted the boy to have another chance, by his side or with someone else or maybe on his own entirely, because Credence was strong and brave and kind and there was nothing out of his reach.
But there were no spells that could do it, no potions to gently let the boy start anew. In the end they were both broken things, thrown into swirl of events much greater than they were, unprepared for the role they had to play. At times Percival let himself wonder if he would go through it all again, if he had the power to turn back time, and he knew he would if Credence was still waiting at the end of the road.
They had each other and even if it wasn’t enough, not yet, it was something they could work with.
“Let me see you, darling.” The words sounded soft as he whispered into Credence’s hair, his arms holding the boy close. “You look beautiful like this.”

and oh, man. This brother. A stunning younger brother with a head of golden curls, seraphim, so good looking that if woman-Jacob didn’t think she was dreaming before she knows beyond a doubt that she is now. He’s every inch a legilimense. He’s– he just– he’s lovely, and she has no idea why he’s leaning so close to her across the dinner table. He dabs his mouth with a napkin and her heart skips??? Doesn’t make sense.
