It’s not about the how, it’s about the why

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. About “how to do” something isn’t what I’m missing. I know “how” to get better at lettering (practice), “how” to sleep and wake up early, “how” to grow an instagram.

But I think my “why” I want to do these things is a little weak. Yes, lettering makes me happy and fulfills my soul, but is there more I’m expecting? Yes, sleeping and waking up early are good habits, but what do I want to do with that extra time or energy? Also what am I going to give up if I want to get as much sleep as I need? And yes, having the swipe up feature on Instagram would be cool (and bragging rights lol), but what else do I want to do? And considering the amount of effort that goes into growing an instagram lol, really what am I trying to accomplish?

Hmm just a stream of consciousness hahah.
