I was too busy being insane about this whole interaction between them that I forgot to read into it. I feel like the Usual, Normal reaction a person would have to an authority figure lifting a penalty they impose upon them, especially an unfair one, is to let it go and return to the usual program cause that’s all you can do most of the time — cause you can never guess what these higher-ups have in their minds.
