cause Howard was gay asf and could only think of evil gay men. Also cause he wanted to be different
No but i think big part of it got a lot to do with how he perceived their intention as purely resulting from impulse and psychological thrill and how calculated they were with their crimes as opposed to Bonnie & Clyde's more objective circumstances that lead to them committing theirs. The other part was cause he perceived himself as innocent as a 14 yo boy.
