Not sure if this was the authors intent but I think Keith's characterization was an incredibly relatable showcasing of how the autistic experience can often lead to intense anxiety and horrible miscommunications. Very well written and worth a read, breathtakingly unfinished but I still hold out hope we may get some more one day!

my description: oh boy howdy. talk about putting lance through the fukn blender. in this one lance is cursed with the ability to rewind time. the physical and psychological torment he goes through witnessing so many different alternate timelines before going back to fix them. damn. this is one of my fav fics. i read it several years ago and there are several scenes that have stuck with me all this time. so many of the klance moments are so sweet and tender and disgustingly everything i want but lance lets his insecurities and self doubt get the better of him and uses his power for EVIL. unfortunately the last two chapters were never posted and we don’t get to see lance have to deal with the consequences of his own actions but it’s still so worth a read imo. the author is so talented and has such an eloquent way of describing and pulling emotion and tension out in a scene and it is so frustrating to watch lance fuck up and doubt himself over and over but also so sweet to watch keith be there every step even if lance won’t let him in fully

I love her writing, i’ve read several of her other steddie fics too and they are always masterpieces! there is so so much i could say about this fic but i would never ever shut up bc it’s just so good on so many levels but this post is already a mile long. if anyone ever does read it lmk bc id love to yap about it with literally anyone.

I LOVED this fic. i have so much to say… this fic is so well developed. the characters go through so much a growth and we get such a raw look into the motivations/struggles of my favorite boys. plus i love an idiots in love but this time it’s on ice! it follows hockey!keith being forced into figure skating lessons by shiro to improve his footwork where he encounters figure skater!lance and they both have to learn to navigate life’s uncertainties/vulnerabilities. unfortunately the fic was (sorta) abandoned bc the author was harassed/fell or of love with the fic. It greatly saddens me when i see this happening. Fandom is a space of gifting/a gift economy and we as fans/readers are not entitled to the labor of any creator. authors are people with their own lives outside of creating/writing. they do this bc they love it and they share it bc we love it too and for people to bully and harass someone to the point that they can no longer stand to look at a work they once loved is horrific behavior. the author was kind enough to provide us with a fragmented and unpolished closure through prewritten scenes and overviews strung together we we could see where the fic was headed and how it was supposed to end. and i am eternally grateful for that as i was eating up every word of this fic. but it’s more than we deserved based on what the author said on why they were abandoning the fic. would recommend reading this one even with the unpolished ending we got.

I love galra keith so I had fun with this one! It was a cool take to have him transform completely- go from being regular human keith to purple fluffy ear keith and have to adjust to that.

Lance finds himself separated from the rest of the paladins, imprisoned by the galra, in the fucking arena, then somehow at the center of a rebellion movement. Lance goes through the fucking blender again and again but the fic is also funny and heartwarming, and heartbreaking. it explores grief, ptsd, lance’s completely unfounded self confidence issues. and it really expands on the inner workings of the galra empire from the pov of everyday people in a way that i have really enjoyed. the authors oc s really add to the story i could talk about this fic for a long time and i cannot wait to see where this goes and finally get to the inevitable reunion of lance and the rest of the paladins. i am very impatiently waiting for the next chapter every single day!

my description: ok holy shit. this was so good. a post cannon post break up getting back together in their 30s fic. klance finds themselves on the same diplomatic conference as exes and the story flips back and forth between the present (30s klance) and the past (early relationship/breakup). it is so well written. and such an excellent study on the psychological effects of war. very lance centric and him dealing with his ptsd. we do get some keith pov too. the writing is not only well structured but also aesthetically stunning. the way existwound describes the emotions that they are feeling and the world/story building are top tier. absolutely love this fic and will continue to think about/be inspired by it for a long time to come

A modern/magic/fae klance AU and first of all it was a beautifully written piece about my two favorite boys failing to stay away from each other despite their better judgments. highly recommend

Wittyys world building and descriptions are always immaculate but the description of Fey!Lance without his glamour– particularly the white freckles, has really stuck with me so i drew it! please enjoy
