His favorite drink is orange sodas (any brand) but not orange juice

His favorite colors are pink and blue

Pup's favorite music artist is Bird Town

He likes to draw a little for fun, mostly cogs but he doesn't consider himself a ferrie despite that, just a cog artist

Pup loves visiting pet stores and cog shelters

He likes cogsitting, so he has a little bit of money to do stuff like buy snacks and candy and little gifts for Ally

Pup loves collecting beaknee babies

He's talked in the cutesy voice his entire life, but pup sometimes rarely will use his regular voice in some serious moments or if he's quoting something someone else says. His voice is naturally a LOT deeper which is really jarring to anyone who hears it. Ally hasn't heard his regular voice since they were kids, so kit doesn't know what it sounds like nowadays

This was mentioned on the Cometcare blog but pup is cog otherkin!

We see this there too but he rides a bike around town instead of driving! Pup rides his bike to visit Ally a lot, it's pretty much the only place he goes LOL

He spends most of his time at Ally's house instead of his own

For reasons you guys don't know yet, Howie was taken out of his biological parent's custody when he was 8 years old and now lives with foster parents. The reasoning wasn't because of anything bad happening to him though. He has no contact with his parents and hasn't seen them in 10 years. The Comet family knew his parents though, before they were separated from Howie

out of curiosity, if howie was a darkermatters OC would he be a cat person or a dog person? Or both!!!!

VERY good question actually!!! I think to answer this I need to make it clear what cogs are meant to be first

Cogs are not "a mix of cats and dogs" literally, despite their name suggesting it. Cogs are just four-eared cats, with dog behaviors. They're "cats that act like dogs". Though they have a few cat mannerisms like purring and kneading, they bark and need to go on walks and can have more varied sizes, etc, and their personalities are a lot more like dogs. However, in terms of how they're perceived online they're the same as cats. The name "cog" implies "cat that acts like a dog".

In other words, they're just the equivalent of dogs, but look like cats and have some kittycat traits. So technically, if we turned pup into an OC, he would be a dog person!

That's EXACTLY what it is like, it's actually really fucking funny, except hearing it usually would mean something is wrong unless pup was like... quoting someone else or something
