This beautiful girl next to me has shown me love that I didn't know was real. She is given me a fairytale type of love. The type 9f love you read on books and in movies. She goes out of her way to make me happy. When I'm not sleepy and she is she stays up with me because I ask. When I am sleepy she holds me till I fall alseep. The love in her eyes when she looks at me is so pure it's hard to believe something like that is real. When I'm grumpy or mad or just being a stubborn titty baby she is still so sweet most of the time and understanding. She is the one always to apologize first even if it was my fault. I thought I knew what love was. Every morning greeting, unless she’s sick. She stays in bed when I get up, then about a half hour in, usually when I’m about to get in the shower to start the day, she pops her head out from the blankets and does the ear flappy head shake to let me know she’s up too. I call her (Is that my baby girl? Come here little Lay—-deee) and she then hops off the bed and comes running. If the couch is in normal position, she stops at the heater and does the crawlies until she’s within reach (while I cheer her on), if it’s turned like it is now, she stops at the opposite end and does the crawlies around the corner until she’s within reach. She then rolls onto her back and I cradle her neck, pulling her along the rug to me. She gets a few moments of eyeball rubs in my lap while I tell her how much I adore her and how beautiful she is to me, then she curls forward and I wrap her in her Care Bears blanket where she snuggles up against my chest to further her beauty sleep, half the time accompanied by sleep barkies and boinks, and always making it impossible to move for the next 30-45 mins. It’s the routines we thrive on here, and I can’t imagine my mornings without this, or without her.
