Things I Have Done To Piss Off My Dog This Week

Taken her to the vet. Twice.

Washed her in anti-fungal shampoo.

Put a new flea collar on her.

Put the cone on her after she chewed a hole in her thigh while I was at work.

Not put that probiotic powder she likes on her food thickly enough.

Not given her adequate snuggles

Sprayed anti-itch spray on her itchy bits. How Dare.

Not snuggled her after the spraying incident plus time equaled Oily, Smelly, Tacky Dog.

Refused to scratch her for more than 45 minutes.

Gone to work every day.

Took a nap after I got home from work (I had a migraine! Also it's a week before the kids take their finals and I'm exhausted)

Washed her bed.

Washed her other bed.

Washed her again.

Cut her fur to better apply the anti-itch spray.

Applied the anti-itch spray to her itchy places again. HOW. DARE.

Given her another bath so I could bear to snuggle her.

Ways in which she has punished me:

Glared at me through her eyebrows

Sighed deeply and walked away whenever I called her

Refused to snuggle

Shredded 1 tissue in bedroom

Shredded 1 tissue in living room

Shredded 1 tissue in kitchen

Spread tissue shreds liberally throughout house

Whined and wandered incessantly while I tried to nap

Peed on floor repeatedly, placing puddles in pointedly well-traveled and poorly-lit areas

Some may say she cannot be doing all this maliciously. To you, I say, you have not met my dog. She has a long memory, and she bears grudges.
