who would be the one to randomly adopt a puppy without consultation let’s be real, howl. calcifer doesn’t think about taking risks and stuff so they’d never bring home the puppy. i think calcifer would be super intrigued by the puppy, it reminds them a lot of howl in a way, but they’ll leave it to do its own thing.who would force the other to take aesthetic pictures of themhowl, outwardly, but calcifer will be the type to make howl take multiple pictures of them if they’re at a famous site or something. calcifer poses and makes howl take a lot of pictures, but even if it doesnt turn out the way cal wants, they won’t prod and instead just keep quiet.who would do stuff they think is stupid just to make the other one happycal all the way ayooooo. all in all, cal can’t stand to see howl being sad so when howl asks to watch a scary movie that cal KNOWS howl’s going to be scared by, cal will indulge her simply because she can’t resist howl’s pouting face.who picks out the horror movies to watch just so the other will cling to themoh wow, i didn’t even read this one when i wrote it. howl!!!! i see howl as a person who is constantly nudging at cal to try and get a rise out of them so they would totally pick to watch a horror movie so cal will cling onto them. but also, it backfires, because howl’s equally scared by those movies, so they usually end up clinging onto each other as the movie goes on.who is constantly studying and who is constantly trying to distract themsurprisingly it is howl who’s always studying and cal who tries to distract her! i imagine howl as a witch who is constantly looking up spells and perfecting potions while calcifer runs their tattoo parlor and does everything by feel. cal would totally get bored one day when howl spends too much time in their books and will start laying on her, curling up on the table, really doing anything to get howl’s attention.who initiates the facetime calls whenever they’re separatedboth of them! although when cal’s gone visiting home, it’s pretty hard to get service in hell.who is more likely to storm out after a fight and who is more likely to cry when they doweLL SHIT WE HAD A THREAD ABOUT THIS. i see howl as likely to do both, but probably more cry. and cal would walk out, but not storm out. cal’s the type of person who needs time to themselves to recharge so everytime they have a fight cal will lock themselves in their room, go to the parlor, or go for a walk.who stays up way too late binge-watching their favorite showsi can see cal as the person who gets way way WAY too into their tv shows. their personal favorites are the ones that attempt to show a magical life and cal will always snort and talk about the inaccuracies of the portrayal. sometimes howl will stay up with them but more often than not howl will crash and cal stays engrossed in the show.who bites the other’s ear when they’re feeling friskyboth~ howl does it playfully and cal will do it when they want howl to stay in her place.who sprays the other with water when they’re washing the cari’m gonna say they just don’t wash the car because 1) i don’t really imagine them having a car? like they go on road trips but they’ll borrow their friend sophie’s car because neither of them have time for that loan shit. 2) cal’s a fire demon and even though they’re a human personification i think if they go swimming or get splashed with water they get REALLY really sickwho has more fun decorating the house during holidayshowl! howl wants to get into all the Human stuff when they start living with humans and will put twenty mistletoes up in the house so that cal keeps walking under them and they have to kiss. cal ends up locking themselves in their office that day.who is more likely to give the silent treatment when they’re mad at the otherhowlllll. it’s such a childish thing and howl will pout while cal just looks on with a small smile. cal will give a ‘silent treatment’ but because cal is just generally quiet (unless there is an outburst), it doesn’t really work.who plays with the others’ hair morehowl! howl finds cal’s fiery red hair mystical and magical to look at and will often entangle her fingers in their hair when they’re cuddling or watching a movie.who is more likely to climb all over the other one when they’re boredcal! i see cal like a cat, not a huge fan of verbal affection, but a number one stan of physical affection.who tries to kiss the other as often as they canhowl~~~ i think that goes specifically for public, however. cal doesn’t like pda but i think when they’re at home, cal will kiss howl every chance they get.who pouts when the other one tells them to shut the fuck uphowl. are you really surprised?who initiates the sex and who walks away when the other is riled up hoWLLLLL INITIATEEEEES and cal walks away bc i think also like cal isnt a super sexually driven being lets be real idk maybe thats just my characterization but i just feel that?who always forgets the umbrella and who holds it when they actually have onei feel like they both would forget the umbrella, even though cal is #allergic to water they still forget the umbrella. also cal’s taller nO ARGUING so cal holds the umbrellawho demands showering first in the morningshave u learned nothing cal doesnt take showers cal is #alwayscleanwho sneaks into the shower with the other one in the morningssometimes cal will sit in the bathroom while howl takes a shower just because they love her so muchwho prefers riding the roller coasters and who prefers playing the gameswhy am i imagining grandpa cal playing chess? i dont know why but i am. also when they go to the carnival cal is like freakishly good at all the carnival games and wins fucktons of stuffed animals for the two and then cries when they go on rollercoasters.
