A Visit Back Home || Closed
Time seemed to fly by now, save when her lover was absent for a mission or when she was out fulfilling a contract of her own. Alsoomse was the happiest she had been in years and had fallen into a steady pattern. She didn’t sit still at home all the time, of course, however domestic life had certainly grown on her. Her small field of crops grew, friendships with the homesteaders formed, and she had long settled in the manor that sat on a cliff overlooking the port where the Aquila was docked.
Nevertheless, something had been pressing on the Shawnee’s mind. She had been in a stable relationship with the man she loved for quite a while now and yet he had never been to her village back in Philadephia. Little family was left, but enough remained. Cousins, aunts, uncles, and one final living grandparent.... They’d want to meet Connor, see what kind of man he was and determine whether he was a suitable companion for her. Surely he’d wish to meet them as well.
Alsoomse sat perched on a tree branch near the manor, a leg dangling with an unopened book sitting in her lap as she thought deeply about all of this.
