I am very normal about these two I swear

this ratty lil joker color scheme feather teaser was one of the few toys howl stayed interested in on the days he was feeling bad and now cal has started picking it up and carrying it around the house with him all the time. he brings it to us throughout the day and drops it and waits for us to play with him. the past few nights he’s been bringing it to bed and setting it beside him before curling up to sleep. when i leave in the morning the first thing he does is pick it up and start carrying it around while doing his “attention me!” call like he usually does with his babies (also pictured). da legacy of a life will be carried on past its end by those who cared even with beasts crazy world

#it’s so funny too he carries it like his babies but then still bites and tears the shit out of it which he never does with his babies #the toys that are his babies get carried around the house gentle and are never fought with. other animal toys he kicks and bites like hell #this is the first toy to get the baby treatment and the prey treatment. guess that’s on brothers #howlposting

Thinks about the phrase “the internet is full of ghosts.”

It’s so simple. So lovely. So true. The internet is full of all kinds of ghosts. People’s interests, abandoned. Half-finished projects and dreams, discarded. Their hopes left behind by their lives changing or ending.

But what gets me is the online world is designed to be a sort of permanent. It’s meant to store these things longer after they’ve been left behind.

It’s a house built to be haunted.
