Our lovely Nika has finished our second #HowlsForSterek video! It's completely awesome; we can't stop listening to the fandom howling and getting chills! You guys are completely awesome.

As a reminder, today and tomorrow are the last days to submit! You can submit your howling video to [email protected] or drop a link into our ask box! We will be turning these videos over to Jeff as well, so it would be really wonderful to give him a chance to listen to so many of his fans howling for Sterek!

Thank You For The 680 Cookies!

It's been rather busy for many of the SC admin team members, so we haven't had much time to play with the fandom or the campaign, but we thought we would let you guys know the total came in for ordered cookies and you guys ordered a grand total of 680 delicious chocolate chip cookies to send to Jeff.

Sometime in the next couple of weeks, when we get the go-ahead, the bakery will be baking up all of those cookies, packaging them up, and sending them off to Jeff for us. We will for sure hear back that they reached their destination if nothing else! We should be able to get photos of the cookies before they are sent so everyone can see!

Great job guys! Look forward to our next Call to Love, which we will launch at our live Halloween party UStream on Oct 31st at 6PM EST! Join us for Halloween howls!

Sterek Campaign Live UStream Tonight at 6PM EST!

We will be discussing the second phase of #CookiesForSterek, reading postcards from #HowlsForSterek, sharing howls, reveling in some live fandom time, and talking some about next month's Call to Love.

I love what you're doing here! I'm just curious, where did the phrase "Call to Love" come from? (I feel like I've heard it before.) Also, I'm considering doing a HowlForSterek video. I know we're suppose to howl in the video, but if I could get my dog to howl, could I add it in?

Your dog is welcome to join in the howling :) The more the merrier!

As for the term "Call to Love" if it is coined elsewhere we are unaware of it. Our post-writing admin started using the term when we were in early discussion of what to do, and it stuck. Now we use it because that is what we are doing; calling on the fandom to show their love.
