To say this past week or two has been hard would be an understatement. There's so much I want to say, but I'm tired. I won't stop standing up to the racial injustice that has plagued this country for years and I hope you won't as well. It takes ALL of us. I also won't continue to contribute to making many of you feel comfortable about not talking about racial equality. We need to be uncomfortable. These conversations NEED to continue. Today would have been Breonna Taylor's 27th birthday. Unfortunately, her life was taken from her by law enforcement that wrongfully murdered her in her own residence. They still have yet to be held accountable. The lack of accountability in "our" justice system is apalling and needs to be corrected. The protests happening in all forms are vital to this movement. History is being made and there's only one humane side.
