I remember the first time I was told what I was allowed to do because of WHAT i was.

it was in preschool and everyone was outside playing football or just hanging around. It was really warm and all the boys started taking their shirts off and so I thought I could do the same( im a girl btw). That was when one of the boys walked up to me and said that I wasn’t allowed to be shirtless. I asked why and he said that It was because I was a girl and girls couldnt show their bodies like that. A bit ashamed I put my shirt back on but I couldnt shake the interaction out of my head and still haven’t.

Why is it such taboo for girls to show their breasts( even when they are too young to have any) Im just curiou?
