Joy. A challenging word for our times. It happens to be the word I chose for this year. Before all "this" happened. Do you think God knew what He was doing when He put that in my heart? I do. And I'm working on it. The work stretches me. It's meant to, don't you think? Looking for joy within me is part of my relationship with Love. He wants to gives us joy and peace. It pains Him when we refuse it. We have to want it to receive it. Love never forces Himself or His gifts upon us. There's the rub: do we want to find joy right now or do we want to wallow? "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives."
