mornings have always been my fav part of any day. I’m completely greedy in the morning, I love waking up early and spending time waking up and getting ready to start my day.

journaling + coffee + writing have always been part of my mornings, a time to reflect on everything. It’s a part of my day that gives me the chance to look at things I’m doing + feeling and how I can improve. It’s not a moment to make myself or my life perfect but to express how I want to improve on what I’m doing and to plan on positive strategies for things that are upcoming or that I want to do. I use this time to get into my workout at the gym like what I’m going to work on how many sets | reps + how many exercises I’m going to include.

as a trainer I’m always challenging myself in my workouts both physically + mentally. VISUALIZATION is a technique I use and as it happens that I encourage my clients at the gym to use. Part of preparing for my daily workout isn’t just following my planned weekly workout but preparing for the workout in front of me. Seeing myself preforming my workout envisioning the mind-muscle connection that happens as I move through my workout inspires me and encourages me to have the best workout possible. Visualization is an amazing technique that isn’t just for the gym it’s a technique that can be used anytime you want to achieve, accomplish, or finish a thing, a goal, an idea.

after the gym I go home shower + get washed first, I never shower at the gym. I do my skin care routine which involves Dead Sea Salt +++, I do my hair, then I begin getting dressed for the day. I’m a layer kind of woman I add layers like a sweater or a jacket especially in winter and spring so I can adapt to the changing temperatures during those seasons. Because I’m a trainer + writer my day clothes always represent that and no I don’t wear anything inappropriate that includes my bag which always consist of my phone, computer, and other writing tools.

i spend a ton of time planning and this is very different to my journal which is much more feeling and emotion. My planner is my guide two weeks in advance - I use it for my workouts, appointments, lists, to-dos and anything else that needs me to write it down.
