Tie-dye pattern : Mushroom Mandala

Today I am demonstrating how to tie-dye a Mushroom Mandala pattern tapestry using the ice tie-dye method. This is a step by step tie-dye tutorial video where we cover the entire process starting with the folding and drawing of our mushroom design on the tapestry. From there we tie off the mushroom using sinew and begin our mandala fold. After we've finished the mandala fold, we then draw on our mandala design and bind the rest of the tapestry with sinew and kite string. Now the tapestry is ready for our procion dye powder and ice to be added right on top of the material. Finally we let the tapestry sit for 24 hours, give it a good rinse and jump right on into the reveal of our new mushroom mandala pattern tapestry. I hope you enjoy and as always...Happy Tie Dyeing!

The bottom two pictures are the shirt I washed it out and re dyed it with a scrunch pattern.
