Thank goodness it finally warmed up! My hip was hurting and I had to walk into town to pick up my heart meds, so I really needed my cane. I’ve mentioned this before, but when the temperature plummets, I can’t use my cane because even with gloves on, my left hand still gets too cold. Wearing thicker gloves means I can’t grip the handle very well, so that doesn’t work either.
I’m also glad it warmed up because I’ve been in the mood for short skirts for a while.
[Image description: one full-body photo of a young woman (me) with bright orange hair pulled back in a ponytail. I’m standing in front of a green door set in a brick wall, with a bag of ice-melting salt to my left. I’m holding a bronze-and-silver cane in my left hand. I’m wearing a black snapback cap that says, “I got dressed today” in rainbow letters surrounded by lavender stars. The underside of the brim is green. I have on a long-sleeved black shirt tucked into a short, red plaid skirt with a zipper all the way down the front. Under the skirt, I’m wearing black leggings. I have on a generic denim jacket, a dark red scarf, and black snow boots. I’m wearing silver stud earrings above mixed metal hoop earrings that have little leaves on them. I have on eye makeup but no lipstick. As always, I’m wearing my round silver glasses.]
