Ron: "I think it's back to the old Divination standby."
Harry: "What- make it up?"
Ron: "Yeah. Next Monday I am likely to develop a cough, owing to the unlikely conjuncture of Mars and Jupiter. You know her- just put in loads of misery, she'll lap it up."
Harry: "Right. Okay...on Monday, I will be in danger of - er- burns."
Ron: "Yeah, you will be, we're seeing the skrewts again on Monday. Okay, Tuesday, I'll...er..."
Harry *flicking through the book for ideas*: "Lose a treasured possession."
Ron: "Good one. Because of...erm...Mercury. Why don't you get stabbed in the back by someone you thought was a friend?"
Harry: "Yeah...cool, because... Venus is in the twelfth house."
Ron: "And on Wednesday, I think I'll come off worse in a fight."
Harry: "Aaah, I was going to have a fight. Okay, I'll lose a bet."
Ron: "Yeah, you'll be betting I win my fight..."
its been fifteen years since harry potter and the goblet of fire was released, but i still feel the same swell of pride in my chest when barty crouch, jr./mad-eye moody calls fleur delacour "just as much of a fairy princess as i am."
it doesn't even matter if he's comparing her to the real alastor or to himself, its still a testament to how skilled of a witch she truly was because hello--one is the wizarding world's greatest auror and the other is one of voldemort's most skilled death eaters? so clearly, the girl was chosen by the goblet for a good reason??
it's really just jk's fault that she was so underutilized throughout the series when we could've gotten a display of how formidable fleur really is in the last four movies
