I’m trying to finish something for valentine’s day and the writing of “I’d remember my own dad ” part two is being a nightmaree. Also college is back and it tales more of my time 😔 but anywaaay

I just had to do this after drawing this yiga foot soldier I won’t call him idiot, because it was me, it took me an awful long time to realize that detail, i just never thought about it that much until one day i just… noticed.

It was night, the stars glittered across the sky, and almost everyone in the group was asleep, everyone except Sky, Wild, and Legend, who pretended to be sleeping so he wouldn’t be disturbed.

The Skyloft knight had slipped away from the others to stare at the distant mountains and the floating castle that seemed to have been ripped from the ground.

It wouldn’t be something that he would have not heard about before.

A sigh escaped his lips. He cradled Zelda’s harp in his hands and began to play the melodies he knew by heart, without thinking too much about it. The instrument always brought back a flood of memories: his partner, Fi, the distance that separated him from… his own time.

To a degree it felt like a small psychological torture, a loop of longing for home and feeling guilty over everyone’s troubles.

A sour note made him grimace.

“What’s that?”

Wild’s sudden voice startled him, nearly sending him sprawling onto the ground. It took him a moment to process the boy’s question and calm the rapid beating of his heart.

Sky pretended not to notice the other holding back a laugh as he composed himself. He cleared his throat, looked at the instrument, and said, “An harp.”

“May I?” the boy finally asked. Sky hesitated a second… he’d never considered himself particularly selfish, but that instrument meant a great deal to him, and the last time he had taken something important for him…

He halted his train of thought. It hadn’t been his fault. If anything, he would be even more responsible for the whole mess.

Sky extended the instrument toward him. Wild took it, sitting beside Sky, eyes tracing the golden strings, the striking color of the harp. After a few moments of contemplation, his fingers danced across the strings, first slowly, as if greeting an old friend once more. Gradually the music turned into a melody he didn’t remember ever learning.

It felt familiar to Sky, far too familiar, like something he’d heard before but couldn’t figure it out why.

The younger one seemed lost in the song, as if some kind of trance had settled over him.

Sky watched in silence, unsure what to say. Things were still a little awkward between them since the shouting incident, and he didn’t know how to apologize properly… For now, both of them have been pretending the small tension didn’t exist.

“Beginner’s luck?”

“…Kind of.”

I drew those two at college, in my phone. But I think they turned out pretty decent. I liked it. I decided to add that little narration extra. This is supposed to be inspired by an ask that I will answer in a minute and explain a little bit more hehe.

“I’ve been struggling for like- twenty minutes! how you didn’t know?” the young one complained.

“There are a lot of things I don’t know about myself!”

“You are funny” Might signs at wind to catch his attention, a little smile spreading across his face while doing so. The youngest looked at the blue-eyed boy for an answer, clearly confused.

“He says you’re annoying,” Wild teased, and Wind seemed offended

Might raised his hands, mouthing, “No, not true.”trying to deny it. The oldest erupted in laughter seeing the scene and the others followed shortly after.

The memories weren’t that bad that way.

Not the budget disappearing progressive until the last part turned into writing BAHAHA. I gave up midway. Wind is the one who is most interested in learning uh HSL?? Hylian sign language?? He doesn’t want might to feel excluded, so he tries to learn… at his own pace. Between Sky and Tracks tracks is the one who understands him the most. They share almost the same signs, unlike Sky who sometimes doesn't identify some of what he's signs.

And sorry if I committed any mistakes I do my best trying to research asl, but I do not know asl.

Would any of your links be okay with dyeing their hairs and what color do you think theyd like to dye it

Wild, wild would be the one with no problems to dye his hair. Pink, blue, green, whatever. He is up to whatever, as well as worlds (what a surprise). I think he would dye it green (tfh reference) or black/purple because of ravio and then get jumpscared because he looks like Ravio (dumb ahh boy)

I don't know if anyone else would be willing to dye their hairs. Maybe hyrule, not his idea but he likes to participate, whatever the others choose, and then probably regrets it.

Which one of the boys is experiencing the most serious problems with nightmares and insomnia?

Time, Hyrule and Wild. Sleep deprived gang.

Hyrule has this bad habit of being unable to sleep deeply, he is Perpetually alert and you can’t really blame him, his life is constantly in danger and facing death most of the time.

Time had to deal with a lot of childhood trauma and nightmares that still hunts him sometimes, but he tries his best to overcome them.

Wild in the other hand deals with a lot of stress and pressure—As well as pain—that doesn’t let him sleep as he should, and after being asleep for 100 years he feels kinda guilty about resting, constantly dealing with the sensation of losing even more time.

And… specially Legend has troubles with insomnia and nightmares about koholint.

Sky is a really good sleeper tho.

Do any of the links have tattoos? Or any markings that can be confused for tattoos?

Yes!

First of all the triforce crest, I was planning to just give it to the ones who actually used the full triforce such as Sky, Legend, Worlds, Hyrule, but then I remembered the mark TP Link had all along for bearing just the triforce of courage and… I’m having troubles deciding that detail.

Besides that we have:

Legend

A Goron tattoo, prove that he has been accepted as one of their brothers. (Painful experience, he would not recommend)

Hyrule

He has a huge back “tattoo” of folded wings, magic leaves traces and as a fairy the tattoo fades because it transforms into his actual wings.

Wild

This is the most obvious, the ones from Rauru’s hand, so it doesn’t need further explanation.

Time

I’m still debating if also giving him the Goron tattoo or not but probably I will, but besides that some of the masks he uses leaves marks that fades after some time.

Honorific mention:

Twilight, his transformation used to give him marks that mimicked his twilight wolf form, the time that this mark stayed in his skin was proportional to the amount of time he had spent transformed. Since the Twilight mirror was shattered the magic inside the shadow crystal extinguished, he keeps it as a bittersweet memory, he hasn’t transformed in years.
