Miscommunication Kills || Ann & Max
@tomboy-ann;
Eating out was not something Max did often, the heir much preferring to cook and eat his or his sister’s food. But when people were as busy as they were, home-cooked meals weren’t always an option, especially during the tumultuous time that the holiday season was. So after getting off of work, he heads up to the Red Snapper for a quick, convenient and serviceable dinner.
Only having been there a scarce few times, Max generally knew what to expect from everything except the food. The staff changed like the tides (thanks, in part, to him), and the quality of the cuisine with it. So when the dish he ordered arrives and ends up tasting... positively delicious, he looks up at the server girl curiously. The pleasantness of surprise dancing in his eyes.
“My, this is wonderful. May I inquire as to who prepared this dish, Miss?”
