•｡ ღ 𝒜ll of the tabloids and the critics called her cold and ruthless; therefore, she decided to play that role - not only in her life but also for this Halloween party that the office building was hosting at a club in the city. Let there be no mistake that Bianca may have practically been ice - similar to a snow queen - but every piece of her attire contained at the bare minimum of one diamond. From her high heels to her crown, she would let everyone understand that they were beneath her - and that her entire costume was essentially beyond their pay in a lifetime.

𝓑ianca had a reputation - and at this point, it was a matter of maintaining it. She refused to become irrelevant - no matter what it took or who she would have to freeze in ice. With that, she departed from her manor and gathered herself inside the limo - exhaling a breath of nervousness while it left the driveway and headed into the city.

It had taken awhile to figure out who this Raeger person was, but he figured it out eventually. Now he could return the favor for the birthday gift. On Christmas no less, so it was a two for one deal. The only problem was that he didn’t know what this guy liked. For that reason he went to the roast in order to find out, when Raeger was and wasn’t on the clock. After all they had never seen him in real life, so to Raeger this Jamie person was only known by name.

The guy liked something to cook with, exotic things. As a result all Jamie could think of was seaweed to give the guy, along with sea urchins. That would be good enough right. With the bag in hand he went to the apartment in which Raeger lived in. By a stroke of luck he saw the chief heading towards their dwelling.

Jamie piked up the pace, “Raeger!” It felt odd calling his name, as Jamie did not know the other at all. Other than the fact that they gave him something. Making his way in front of them he held out a bag towards them. “Just wanted to say thanks for the birthday gift, and merry Christmas.”

“I really loved the chocolate you gave me that day.”

Haley was like the sun. Bright, beautiful, lighting up everything she came across and making the world seem fresh and inviting and new. Haley was too much like the sun. You got too close to her and you would get fucking burned.

Meeting her was a mistake, Chase had told himself all those years ago. Throwing away a relationship where he had felt happy, and loved, and safe-- for something exciting and new that had only lasted barely a week, at most. They would break up every week, get back together two days later.

All in all, Chase was a romantic at heart. Something he would never admit, not even to himself. He had thought somewhere in his heart that would have been the start of something... anything. Them meeting, it had been like something out of a movie.

But it was more like something out of a shitty straight to dvd film. 

Stepping out of the Roast, having finally received his latte from the bitchy blonde barista, Chase opened the doors to the elevator to head up to work. Yawning into the back of his hand as he finally stepped inside, pressing the button for The Red Snapper, he looked to the woman who had walked on with him.

“What floor...”

“... fuck.”

“Lillian this show is a complete and utter mess. Remind me again why we even watch it?”

Honestly the show wasn’t that bad, it was actually pretty entertaining. The only thing was that the main characters pissed him off. A dude with purple hair and a female with brown hair were the main characters. First off the whole story was a mess. Purple dude and brown hair girl marry. However, brown hair girl ends up conceiving orange haired dude’s kid when she’s married to purple dude. The kid is born, but both partners have affairs. Then brown hair girl gives birth to purple haired dude’s kid. Sadly they divorce. Purple haired dude marries blond haired girl and they have a kid. Then they divorce and purple haired dude remarries brown haired girl and raises all three kids. At the end of it all purple haired dude is killed.

Like? What kind of story is that? “My biggest question is why she put up with his shit and remarried him? Only for him to die? I would never do that, she deserved someone better.”

At the moment both of them were seated next to each other watching television. Neil hadn’t come home yet, so they were alone at this point in time. It was quite funny how the main characters resembled them.

Another town, another move.

Selena sighed in her seat on the plane as she waited for everyone else to get in their seats before takeoff. As excited as she was, she was also a bit nervous - not that she’d ever admit it. There was something about her professional dance career ending and her moving to a simple instructor job that made her feel… uneasy? It was a pretty big step down from what she was used to, but at the same time it was exactly what she needed.

She had taken interest in dancing from a young age and against her parents’ wishes, she pursued a career in it. Partially because she wanted to and partially to prove her parents wrong, she became successful and performed in shows and events, including Christmas specials on television and competitions. Her parents still didn’t accept her lifestyle choices and that caused Selena to focus more time into her dancing to keep her out of the house.

Another sigh left her lips and she pulled her sleeping mask over her eyes just as she heard the intercom come on.

Attention, passengers. We’re getting ready for takeoff, please ensure that your seat belts are fastened and that all electronic devices are off. Thank you and enjoy your flight.

     ⌜♥⌟  Birthdays stopped being new and exciting when the 21st passed. Now, here Julius is at 28 and sitting at home, drinking alone and resisting the urge to beg for attention. For once.

     He’s alone tonight, because he got Noah covered at his usual time and he’s not about to wake up his precious child for some birthday drinks. It’s 4AM, if his clock is right. Pretty late to be drinking (or early?) anyway, but he just allowed himself to step away from struggling to design. He called a “day off” for the wonderful celebration, but who knows if he’ll actually go out and do any of it when he’s probably got dark shadows under his eyes. 

     ⌜♥⌟  “’M not putting on a whole face of makeup to hide some bags today,” he mumbles, tracing around the lip of his drink with his finger. His other hand holds his head. Maybe he’ll try to go out with people tonight. He isn’t one to mention his birthday seriously, as he certainly doesn’t want to celebrate himself getting older, but some fun would be nice. But if he still looks like this when he wakes up... Another glance at the time, and he grimaces as he starts to clean up his set-up. “Right... Sleep first."

If it wasn’t for Cecilia, Vaughn wouldn’t even be going to this party. And in a similar vein, he would never be dressed up as the Beast without her. It wasn’t that he was irritated though, as much as his demeanor might suggest that to some. Vaughn was happy to go out with her if that was what she wanted. And if she was the Beauty to his Beast? All the better. He adjusted his mask once more, finding it a little itchy, and touched the horns. It was weird not wearing his hat. Beneath the mask, violet eyes stared critically at his appearance, and he knew he’d have to leave well enough alone. It was time to go.
