She didn't expect to get bid on, she just signed up for fun but someone surprised her and bid on her for the date auction. However, to even further surprise her, L.Joe gave her to Jongup for the date. She had told Jongup and he seemed, shocked and hesitant to go on a date with her. Hyelim had offered for them to say that they went on a date but he seemed to be ok with it.
Hyelim and Jongup's relationship had been somewhat awkward ever since their 'breakup' but they've slowly began to trust each other again. The girl still felt scared to open her heart back to him but she knew, deep down inside, that she still loved him. They had been out together and talked normally now as friends, Hyelim, however, still felt that skipped heartbeat as she did when they were together.
So here she was, on New Year's Eve waiting for him with a gift in hand. Hyelim tugged on her dress and lightly fixed her hair, she had spent so much time getting ready for this date, she wanted to look pretty for him. She was in the middle of touching up on her lip gloss when she saw him, a smile came up on her lip. "Uppie. Over here." She said, walking over to him now, gift in her hands.
