Hi everyone, just a reminder that claiming for the 2020 drizzle fest is still open. Fics/Art are due on August 15 so if you sign up today, you still have a month and a half to create/submit something! Drizzle is low-pressure weather based HP anonymous fest. Posting begins on September 1. Due to the world being on fire, and "the creator" making nonsensical statements, we've had quite a few members drop out. Nevertheless, we're hoping that your creativity will bring a smile to someone's face when Hogwarts reopens on 1st of September. If you'd like to sign up, it's not too late. HP Drizzle Fic Claim

@hpdrizzle is one of my favourite fests.  Sometimes I’m late getting my fic done, but I truly love participating in all the years I’ve participated.  I always look forward to participating again and I hope more people sign up next year because it’s always amazing.

I wrote Throwing A Lifeline (Harry/Pansy) 

Summary: After an accident during a raid kills a number of aurors, Harry withdraws from work and his friends. Pansy is approached at her counselling clinic and asked if she can try to help him work through all of it.

Hello friends, this is just a quick reminder that fics/art are due in one month - August 15.  Please remember to send a SEPARATE EMAIL with subject of: submission / dropping / extension etc... (your user name and prompt #) Hope all is best. - your mods. SUBMISSIONS are due to [email protected] on or before August 15. How to submit: 1. You can send your work in an email to us. Make sure all the HTML tags are in. If you need help with HTML tagging - here's a link: https://hd-writers.dreamwidth.org/416945.html 2. You can upload the work directly to the AO3 COLLECTION. If you do not know how to do this PLEASE ASK FIRST. There's also this TUTORIAL here for you. 3. Art - you can email us the art or upload it on AO3. 4. PLEASE ADD "DRIZZLE_MOD" as co-creator if you decide to upload it on ao3 yourself. 5. You'll need a header - see below. 6. The email you send to us during submissions needs to have the following subject: Submission. FIC/ART. Prompt #. Author/Artist. (OVER OVER - LIKE AFTER OCTOBER) Once submitted, you can claim another prompt, if you wish.  Please remember that fic must be at least 1000 words long and beta-read; art can be in any media or style. If you need a beta, look up beta communities on livejournal such as: hp_betas, hp_betas_wanted, find_me_a_beta, and beta_search. Or tell us if you do not have a beta! PSA - Drizzle Fest: Anonymous.

Hi Friends, Dig here - it's been brought to my attention that some members are distressed over the fact that not every participant is respecting the "anonymous for now" rule for this fest. If you are new and/or unaware - this fest is anonymous. Which means, all stories are anonymous, all art is anonymous and we like it if members did not post stories on other places away from the fest. As in facebook, tumblr, fanfiction.net, or other places. You can, secretly, tell your friends it's your story/art and encourage them to go and read it but please do not post it out in the open.

It's anonymous.

This gives the chance to all participants to have their stories or art be reviewed without any bias. And personally, it makes it a lot of fun to read anonymous stories (and look at art).

Having said this, we are not here to police you or mother you or whatever else analogies you. If members don't respect and follow the rules, there's nothing we can do about it, but please, we'd like it if you respect and follow the rules.
