Old HP fan anon here, and you know? It amazes me to no end that a movie character managed to become this popular, as back then, when the movies and books were still coming out, it was unthinkable for something like this to happen! I mean, we all enjoyed the movies, but we all knew they were "trash" compared to the books, so it was kinda a sin to like them more. IDK man, I'm old school as fuck, and all of this is bizarre to me, but nevertheless I'm glad the fandom is still alive and kicking!

yeah i get that, i saw the movies first and loved them, and after reading the books i loved them even more so i got to enjoy both mediums without hating either one, and yeah i hope the fandom stays alive for a long time without getting ruined by shit like cursed child.

it's just i feel bad about myself like i want to change myself but i can't find the motivation to and i feel like i'm letting my family down and then some nights i'll just cry because i feel shitty about my life and i also feel really guilty idk why

This might sound annoying and repetitive, but alter your diet. It makes you feel much better, I know from experience. You don't have to change anything to a crazy extent, just try to drink a lot more water and eat more fruit. Another point would be to find a hobby, something that you can work on relentlessly, you must enjoy it and it must be able to distract you. What I do is play guitar, it is a huge stress reliever for me. Another thing that works is surrounding yourself with people who you can chill out with. I just went through something quite hard to deal with but I hardly felt any emotional pain when I had my little circle of friends there to chill with me and to support me. Without them I felt a lot more negative and angsty. Something else: maintain your personal hygiene as best you can although it may be hard to motivate yourself to do so. It will make you feel happier and more comfortable in yourself. Get new clothes, they make you feel fresh and cool. I usually shop in charity shops as then you feel good about helping a good cause AND you get cool cheap clothes :) Listen to positive and chilled out music. Nothing angry, and if it is sad, don't let yourself look into it to the point of making yourself feel bad. Music I would recommend to feel positive is John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Dolly Parton, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin.

With the way things have been and what she has said I highly doubt it but I still cling onto the tiniest bit of hope that we could. I have a question for you... Do you think it's time for me to be able to learn who you are?
