It sometimes felt like Morgan was the only important person in the room, at least that's how you felt. You knew it was stupid to think like that because she's shown you time and time again that you're also a big part of the team. But having joined after she joined the team everything just kind of felt like it was her team.

So when Oz one day asked if you wanted to have dinner after a particularly bad case you obviously said yes. And that's how you ended up talking all night about everything and nothing.

You both shared your concerns about the team with the new captain neither of you felt quite comfortable with quite yet.

You ate dinner, went back to your place laid on the couch and talked for hours.

And for once it was like you could breathe again. Like you finally had someone you could talk to about anything and anyone with.

There are a lot of things that HPI has done that is much bolder than High Potential in comparison.

Morgane Alvaro has consistently been showed as a flawed human being by making mistakes in the most self-destructive way because she doesn't trust anyone to take care of her, as well as being the most chaoticly obnoxious person in the room.

Morgan Gillory has got her shit together in order to become a responsible parent and is actually much more pleasant to be around while her chaos is much more tone down because this Morgan has growing self-awareness that her actions could jeorpidize an investigation. She is also less obnoxious and more childish in compensation.

Morgane Alvaro makes much more an interesting character in contrast as she felt more human, but I will say that the one of the main reasons I like High Potential more is because I like the slow-burn romance more.

Say what you will of HPI, the fact that Karadec consistently lie to cover for her and always gets punished for it and lowkey blaming Morgane despite being his choices. It is both grating and heartfelt because you know he loves her if he's willing to put up SO much shit. (My guy! At least confirm with the love of your life her fake alibi before lying to cover a murder SHE DID NOT COMMIT!) . They give so much drama between them to keep them from coming together.

In comparison, Morgadec in High Potential has a much more softer slow-burn as Morgan actually trust and share her vulnerabilites with Karadec, and Karadec becoming a pillar of emotional support while affirming her feelings in return. Unlike HPI, they COMMUNICATE! So it makes much more sense in my perspective when they end up getting together down the line.

Hopefully, we get to watch a whole season of them dating and being chaotically cute together

ngl watching high potential after hpi kind of hurts, because what have they done to my fave girl? It's just so toned down and flat

Morgane Alvaro is so loud and obnoxious (affectionate!!!!) in every way: her fashion sense, her accessories, her hairstyles, the way she talks, etc. and she's also a massive loser constantly on the edge of fucking her life up - and I LOVE HER for it. Morgan Gillory in comparison comes across as just a tiny bit quirky "omg I'm so random" type while still fitting in with conventional beauty standards with her outfits and make-up
