Hi, I was wondering if I could request a nick wagner fic. Like where Daphne and morgan try to set him up with someone they know not knowing, he's already married. And it's embarrassing when Morgan goes off on him because he didn't show up to the date, only for his wife to come in and drop off his lunch. That's when Nick mentions he's married.

"What were you thinking? We went out of our way to set you up." Morgan yelled through the bullpen, walking straight to Nick.

Karadec stood up, not knowing whether to help Nick or Morgan.

"You didn't even show? At that point it's just rude," Oz said, looking between Nick and Morgan.

"As Morgan said, we went out of our way and you don't even show, you don't even tell her or us that you won't show. You won't even tell us why!" Daphne said, raising her voice.

"Hi, I'm here to see captain Wagner." Your voice floated through the bullpen.

You get pointed towards the bullpen and as you start walking you feel all their eyes on you, questioning looks from all around.

"Hey Nick, you forgot your lunch at home." You walk over towards him, oblivious to the stares.

"Hi hon, thanks for bringing it-" "Hi I'm Morgan, what exactly do you mean 'home'"?

"Guys, this is my wife. Sorry I didn't go on the date you'd set up, I had someone else to go home to," Wagner explained.

And another week of High Potential "High-atus", another little treat for the fandom

(as I hope this show lives-long-and-prospers #RenewHighPotential #HighPotentialS3 but if I'm gonna keep doing this I'm going to need some easier access to screencaps or w/e so I don't have to just rely on promo pictures or "let's hope I screenshot this gif at a non-awkward moment" (or do weird awkward mash-up-y shit like I did for that Karadec and Soto one as one text post fit both) for most of these which (along with what text posts I found and who fit them) explains why most of these are focused on Morgan)

I don't know how to feel about Captain Wagner.

I know he is supposed to be a stop sign for the slow burn (which I don't mind), but everything we've learned about him feels so boring in comparison to everyone else. Oh, the new captain has daddy issues and a dead fiancé (read: woman) motivating him? Should we roll out the red carpet? Should we give the writer an award? I don't know, it feels like we are going with every single boring cliche which leads me to find it so annoying he gets all this focus while the other characters remain underdeveloped.

If you look at everything from now multiple little bit-of-lore drops in multiple High Potential episodes establishing Daphne as at minimum a big basketball fan to the commonality of procedurals having some sort of weird intramural excuse for a "sports episode" (albeit usually it's baseball like it was on Criminal Minds and iirc SVU but, hey, even if it wasn't as pseudo-official as those 911 did do basketball (albeit we saw how that turned out)) to even how if you don't count Wagner but count Soto there's five on the squad the perfect number for a basketball team (though there's a part of me that says they might be better off with him than her in that situation because of relative heights) I think it wouldn't surprise me if a future High Potential season finds some excuse for Major Crimes to take part in some sort of inter-squad basketball proverbially in between the case
