it was probably the only art supply store that he visited. he could name some reasons why as one the quality of the supplies sold, and two he just like the store. though with every great thing out there in the world, tae realized there was always a flaw.
that flaw being one of the workers that was behind the counter. sometimes, he was there ( kind of ), and sometimes he was no where to be found. tae would visit the store often as his supplies often needed to be restocked depending on the project he had to do, or just because he draw so much he just ran out of art supplies. there were a few visits where he would see people simply walking out the store. it surprised him as the male just let them walk past him as if he didn’t see it, and it wasn’t just one person it was several people. the male’s lack of apathy annoyed him and sometimes he was grateful that when he would visit at times it was another worker unlike the one who just didn’t care.
this time when he walked in, he was rather surprised. not only was the store open but someone was behind the counter. so, the other actually worked? that was a shock of the day. so, not taking any more notice to it tae began to browse around the store picking up some more pencils, shading supplies, as well as coloring pencils and sharpies with the ultra fine tip as those were his favorite out of any other. he also picked up some other things he found that caught his attention, and headed to the counter to pay for his things. as he made his way to get closer to the male he stopped in front of the counter, and stared at the work in progress.
“ wait, you draw too??? ” tae pointed out, his lips parted slightly to express the surprise that he’d gotten from just watching the male draw. it was the least expected for someone he was used to just seeing smoking outside, or just non-existent.
