hey folks !

as we begin working on our next event and maybe something super fun as well to add to it, we’d like to remind everyone to please reply to open starters as much as you can. to help encourage this, we’ve implemented a new rule:

regarding open starters: you must reply to two opens before you can create your own. new members upon their first character may post a new open starter right away, but it is encouraged to reply to opens that already exist.

if we still do not see replies to opens, we will enact stricter rules, this is to encourage growth among the group and to ensure everyone gets to interact with everyone. to read the rest of our rules, please go here.

also in the future, we highly encourage that you please send any and all concerns to the main off-anonymous so that we can help you better.

we hope everyone’s been having a good weekend so far ! we’ll probably be dropping an event update very soon to open classes, but in the meantime, don’t forget about our first task - we’d love to see what everyone’s rooms look like ! there’s also a channel in the discord where you can sort out roommates (and change around if you like !)

if you’re looking for some stuff to reply to, head on over to @academiastarters​ - the starter blog. there are a few open starter there that could do with more replies! 

finally, a request from the admin team: as the dash is moving very quickly right now and we’re getting quite a lot of new members, some threads may be getting lost. so we’d like to request that ooc posts be kept to a minimum for this time (one or two every now and then should be fine though) thank you !

the admins have discussed and since the dash is super active, we’ve decided to let people apply for a fourth character this week if they’ve been active on their existing three, so hit us with your applications !

with the new starter blog ( @academiastarters ) we have a couple of housekeeping rules for you to go along with it.

please reblog from the source not the starter blog - as the person you’re reblogging from will not get the notification for your reply if you reblog from the starter blog. and we do not need the notifications to clog up our feed when we’re looking for starters to reblog for you !

any new starter you create, please tag it with @academiastarters or we will not reblog it. 

that’s about it, so nothing too major - but it’s stuff that helps us keep organized.

Is there any way you can revolt starters that haven’t got many replies?

by revolt did you mean reblog?

if so, we can certainly take a look through the tags and the channels and make a post for all starters and highlight those that have less than four notes to them, to encourage our members to reply!

we can also discuss, as admins, whether or not we should implement any rule regarding starters.

let us know if you meant something different though !
