16. Favourite character? I won't lie, I love them all. Each character has their our quirks that makes me love them. Having said that my vamoire loving self had one look at Perpetua and picked him as my fav 🙂↕️

Look, for a long time I hated Death Knell. It was an always-skip for me (back when I skipped most of Opus anyway 😔). Then it kept coming up on shuffle, specifically in my car.
In the car, I'm much less likely to skip things, and...I dunno, man. It just worked some kinda magic on me. Even though I still disliked it, for some reason I really enjoyed singing along to it while driving. There's all these sustained discordant notes, belting out "SEX, SEX, SEX," is very fun, it's one of Tobias' weirdest vocal performances...
Ghost in general did this a lot for me: songs that I used to loathe just grew on me. I used to fucking hate From the Pinnacle to the Pit, and now it's an S-Tier Never Skip Godmode No Scope jam for me.
Opus is wall-to-wall bangers, and Death Knell is probably its weakest song, but that's like being the slowest cheetah, you know?
Anyway I like Death Knell a lot but understand why other people don't.
As for nicknames, I'm extremely uncreative and just call fellow Ghost fans ghesties.

When I first started listening to Ghost (very early Impera era), I didn't even know there was lore. I started getting into it in 2024 and saw RHRN. In anticipation for my first ritual in 2025, I dove into the community here got really attached.
That being said, I came for the music and I enjoy the lore but even if it does actually end; I will still be a fan of the music and TF and I will still be here. I wanna say 2 because I truly care for this universe but if TF's version ends, I will continue on.
My attachment to the lore is more due to this community and it's building of the universe. TF gave us a foundation and the community built a castle.

thank you! music is necessary I loop either a song or a playlist/artist for the Mindset. Laptop wherever possible, I have a millennial's instincts. I answer the Big Asks on the laptop too - my thoughts flow more freely this way. Phone is for Talking, Laptop is for Thinking. In winter, decaf tea or coffee (I miss caffeine and it used to be mandatory), in summer, spicy water. I can't GET absolute silence sadly because our air conditioner is possessed and it's summer, but as long as i have the music I'm OK - but if my husband is home and he is playing video or trying to talk to me it Ain't Happening - so I try to write in the other room or when he's not home. Can write at home or in Writing Conducive Public Spaces like a library or coffee shop, but nowhere with a huge crowd. Headphones creating a bubble in this situation is a must.
my AuDHD is crippling so my writing process is USUALLY being Ensnared by a Feeling or a Vibe or a Headcanon and getting into a Headspace with the music on and word vomiting until I have something, then rereading it as if I hadn't written it to edit. But since I'm currently attempting a Long Thing which goes against the grain of everything in my entire being, it's...well same tactics really but having to actually THINK more than FEEL which hurts, and doing it in tiny chunks to appease the little demon that lives in my head and craves diverse stimuli.
Oh and I always have at least three tabs open. The writing, a google for reference, and discord, because while I get in a Zone and don't check messages when the flow state hits, if it Doesn't Hit then sometimes I need to look at things Other Humans are saying in my direction to reorient even if it has nothing to do with what I'm writing

As far as I can tell, all Papas except Nihil have an aversion to being goopy. The closest we get is Papas I & II, who both seem to enjoy digging for gold:

I have been playing since shortly after release and the game is 15 years old so I have played every race and every class combination. I've taken destruction mage, conjuration/illusion/stealth mage, stealth assassin, and sword and shield through to end game (that is to say, most if not all major side quests completed and vanilla main quest complete). I've finished Dawnguard with the stealth mage and the sword and board (and other one off alts without completing the main quest), and I know I have finished Dragonborn at least three times but it's my least favorite DLC so I don't remember which characters I did it with.
That's my nuclear hot take by the way. I wasn't a Morrowind fan like a large majority of elder scrolls nerds, so the nostalgia bait in Dragonborn did nothing for me, and it also featured spindly exploding spiders and a large difficulty spike. So. It's not my fave. My other hot take is that I actually enjoy the creation club content and don't consider Anniversary Edition to be a waste of my money. Particularly the fishing quest line (yes really) is kinda fire as you work through it.
I have played a lot with both mods and vanilla. For the fic I have brewing in my head I am going to be going modless but assuming the Creation Club counts as canon - mostly so that Cardi can have the pet Skeever. I put a lot of hours unmodded in on my nintendo switch. I've played it on PC, xbox, and switch - xbox is where I have had the most play since my chronic pain made it so that any game navigable with WASD keys makes the hands and arms go hurty ow ow. First on the 360, then the one, then the one x or s or whatever the new machine is. xbox allows for modding as long as you do it through the bethesda mod download portal (since nexus etc. isn't possible on console).
My essential mods are the follower mods Inigo and Lucien. They have patchless banter with each other so the game is suddenly less lonely and it turns your Skyrim into a Dragon Age (also the mod author for Lucien, Joseph Russell, is an excellent human being who once killed me in minecraft and I am not kidding).
I LIKE to have a perk tree overhaul but I can play with the vanilla one fine and I prefer a lighter one like Vokrii than the bigger more bells and whistles version. I absolutely require a cheat room (since xbox can't do console commands) and something that doubles perk points on level ups. I enjoy one that adds cooking fires to the inns for utility and another that makes pet dogs unkillable (just because dogs should not die). There's this suite of house mods (Seapoint Settlement which also adds the Seaview home, Waterview, Valleyview, and ones in the Reach and Eastmarch I forget the names of) that are very nice and my favorite homes to live in if I'm using the disc space for them instead of living in the Creation Club homes. I also use a mod that unlocks certain racial features - skintones, eye colors, that are "just" for elves or humans etc are now for everyone. Sometimes hairstyles if I'm feeling really adventurous. I used to do a lot of body modding - usually to make the women fat (on PC where you can find that) or at least curvier (what's available on xbox - we hate the whims of horny men who make these things). I don't anymore. It just led to a lot of lag for a character model I rarely looked at anyway. I do still sometimes download a cool armor or weapon to try though. Oh. And I enjoy having early access to a summonable steed of some kind. Not necessary. But a luxury I like. Another luxury I'll install is chooseable thieves guild missions or similar things - nothing that changes the narrative of a quest, just things that make it easier to work around.
Though speaking of mods, you'll notice my mod list is a lot shorter than most people's and it's got a lot of "I like this I don't need it". One of my hills to die on is this: Skyrim is a good game. It's not, like a lot of gamers say, a game that's only good if you mod it to death and back. It's an actually legitimately good game.
I love all of the major guilds in the game and I wish the bard's college had been fleshed out to stand beside them instead of being a single short quest line. Mage's college is the most in need of more narrative love but I don't hate it. The thieves' guild, dark brotherhood, and the companions, are all my beloveds. I have feels and headcanons about the characters in all of them (though the DB headcanons are heavily influenced by the fanfiction of Ao3 author ms_katonic who wrote an AMAZING set of AUs, one being "What if Cicero were the Dragonborn?" and "What if Jarl Elisif were the Dragonborn?", the latter spun out into a Dragon Age crossover that I stopped following once it covered Veilguard just to avoid spoilers).
I tend to default to Bretons and High Elves when I play, though when I started playing I did Imperials a lot. I have made it very far in a character of every playable race at least once, and possibly every gender thereof too. My least played is Redguard - one of my gripes with the graphic engine is how bad dark skinned characters look in most lightings. When I'm not in it for the long haul, just looking to make a character to have fun on for awhile, I do two handed greatsword - I don't think I have ever finished the game on a character who wields that actually, but it's my turn brain off hit things go brrrr playstyle choice so I have made and deleted a lot of those. But the fun isn't as sustainable.
I always roleplay heavily when I'm playing Skyrim! I invest in the character, decide their relationship with the NPCs, tell a story in my head, etc. I get INVESTED. Standouts include Gem-Snatcher, argonian wizard, who is the only one of my playable characters who took Inigo to Sovngarde (I haven't gotten that far in a game with Lucien, I discovered follower mods woefully late). There's Reyva, the dunmer alchemist merchant who eventually become a powerful illusionist/conjurer and married Ulfric Stormcloak (I had mods and was going through a phase). Hrodgar, the nord sword and board crusader who was a stand in for some of my gender feelings at the time - and Nonus Niro, an imperial sword and board character who was very much the same and who I played kind of like a knight. Florent the Breton thief who went blind and became an armorsmith on Solstheim in his old age. Daewen the horrifying high elf assassin who killed Vittoria Vici and then with the help of console commands married her widower and made him babysit her kids while she was off killing an emperor. Anika the nord barbarian who I ended up playing in a D&D campaign with my friends and her trans sister Belle (formerly Janus) the alchemist and the sprawling lore I gave their families. Vogotha the Wise, Orcish master craftswoman and trader who stole her dowry and ran from the clan she was set to be married to in order to start the Wayward Wives Trading Company (she and Gem-Snatcher are Lesbians together). My very first, Aelfscine the breton who married Marcurio and had a janky build because I didn't understand the game yet. Cinxia the pit fighter from Cyrodiil who rose to lead the companions, my first game completion character. I always tell myself a story when I play Skyrim, it's always a long one, and I have a whole army of OCs who live rent free in my head now.
A few rapid fire hot takes: the Forsworn should have been joinable. Yes they're murderous cannibals but they're also rebelling indigenous people in occupied land. I used to have strong feelings on the Civil War - over the 15 years I have had the strong feelings on both sides actually. Now I just side with the Imperials because I hate both sides but I don't want Jarl Idgrod Ravencrone to be out of a job. Serana needs to stay unromanceable and the people who mod to force that need to be locked in a room with the people who mod Dorian Pavus in Dragon Age to romance female characters and the two sets of sinners need to rethink why they want to force a rape victim (Serana) and a gay man (Dorian) to conform to their lusts. I'm not kink shaming (I'm a ship and let ship including all self ships) I'm kink side-eyeing. Speaking of shipping, Ralof and Hadvar are exes and you can't convince me otherwise.
