Humour But Not Humour!
A joke is a joke if taken lightly. True!
Psychology says if we hear one perspective on the loop for a stretch of time, after a while that perspective becomes our outlook. And most of the times it pushes us to follow the hurdle and outstrip our logical thinking.
This is really sad that we have set a discredit viewpoint by constantly demeaning a profession in an attempt of making a humour out of it. In this strange time where most of the people from all the sectors have lost their jobs, business and daily wages and simply struggling for daily survival, we have rooted thought of undermining the value and work of a profession.
The impact and the realm of social media is like a space. Its immeasurable, countless possibilities, mysterious and moreover unexpectedly astonishing. Enchantingly, it has power to drive masses (this is seriously huge). Memes have circled HR job responsibilities to rangoli and festival celebrations, really? Do we get interview call directly from a company’s MD? Does the CEO directly individually interacts with our grievances or get us timely engaged and upgraded? And the chores does not ends here. The content on social media platforms has degraded the efforts and struggles put up by these designators furthermore debased the hard work invested by them in a company to function smoothly. In addition to it, social media has fabricated a cynical interpretation of a profession.
A very logical question asked by someone from the team. If the department is really that useless then why company hires them in numbers? Why we have a team of 20 HRs professionals? Guessing the organisation only did it to have a bigger Diwali Celebration with double sized Rangoli on the floor :P.
“Yeah, yeah... Cmon yaar, Its just a joke. Don't take it so seriously."
Ohh, is that so? Okay then, good joke..!
