Lance makes a lot of early 00s references, which is basically their universe’s equiv of the 80s, at this point. Back when he lives in Varadero, the local TV was pretty much always just really old reruns of shows. That being said, he’s intimately familiar with shows along the lines of True Blood, Supernatural, etc-- largely to blame from his sisters never changing the channel.
