i turned it off and on already.
@hrseungjoon
he’s fucked.
if it was just an upload for his channel, it would be no big deal. yeah, he’d be frustrated and disappointed that hours of hard work just vanish without a trace, but one tweet to his followers and they’d be pretty understanding. his upload schedule is a hot mess anyways; some say it’s part of his charm.
but this wasn’t a channel upload. this wasn’t for pleasure. this was fifty hours of work for possibly the most important grade he’ll get all semester. he’s been working on this project since last semester, a short mock-umentary for one of his classes that was supposed to make all of his (also quite talented) classmates look weak and blow his professor away with his ability. it was supposed to go to a small film competition and win big, get him the attention of someone who mattered, and secure an internship with a top company. they say not to put all of your eggs in one basket. junho did just that.
“joon,” he’s on the phone the moment his computer won’t power on. this is an emergency. “please, i need you to save my entire life. i’m not kidding, i’ll die if i don’t get my laptop on. it won’t work!”
it’s not hard to tell that he’s stressed even just by voice, that he probably hasn’t slept in 36 hours, and that he’s at his wits end. the caffeine pill he had crushed into his energy shot (dumped into the strongest, blackest coffee possible) makes his hands shake something terrible when he tries to put the phone into speaker mode. “and yes, i’ve tried turning it off and back on again already. the problem is it won’t turn on!”
