The words flew out of Eclipse’s dry lips even before she noticed it, her head tilted towards the window — as if the more she looked the sooner it would snow. She later allowed the side of her lips to curve up into a smile and turned to look at the other.

❛But if you accept a guest, I would like to stay here,❜ Eclipse added soon after. She doubted that there would be any public transportation available at this hour of the day and as much as she loved snow, she had to be realistic and admit the difficulties to reach her own home.

❛Oh — shall we play a game as well? We can try the monopoly!❜

“of course i will accept you as a guest, my dear eclipse.” she smiles slightly. she walks into her bedroom and comes back with a change of clothes. sophia didn’t want eclipse to be out in the cold. even if eclipse did have enough clothes to keep them warm from the weather, it was best if she just stayed over. “i hope you don’t mind, but these are my older clothes. they seem like they’ll fit you.” sophia hands eclipse her clothes. 

“i must apologize for the mess. alice does like to leave her toys everywhere.” she chuckles and slowly picks up the toys that were being left behind. “please, make yourself at home. i can get some snacks ready for you to play with alice when she’s back from my boyfriend’s place.”

i feel blue,

War -- war never changed. Mankind shifted around it; feeding into two sides opposing each other for no other reason than the sweet taste of victory and the satisfaction accompanying it. Seungbin personally felt the effects of needless conflict as his comrades fell around him, crying out in pain.

The flashes of intense blue. It would stain his memories and ... clothes.             -- Blue paint everywhere.

“Go on without me...” Arrived one’s pleading voice as he braced his body against the nearest tree, safety goggles askew. Bin pressed his palm over his eyes to close them, furthering in his playing along with his team’s dramatics. ( Truth be told, it had been some of the most fun he had in quite some time, however silly it appeared from another’s perspective.

Readjusting the vest protecting his chest, he rose to his feet the moment a rustling from the corner of his vision startled him. Cradling his paintball gun loaded with rounds of yellow paint, he was fully prepared to unload it all on the intruder. But first...

not at the moment. there’s plenty of people he finds attractive but none he’s considered dating quite yet. there’s a few people he would fancy getting to know better but he’s not motivated to pursue anything yet.

“or--?” misook taunted, shifting her weight side-to-side as if she wasn’t one tip away from falling over. one drink too many and misook was playing with strangers, weakly tossing snowballs at passerby on her way home. she would be mortified come morning by her actions but in this moment, she was too drunk and entertained by herself to stop.

blaqk’s fears were not unknown. of course, in the six years of his career, blaqk had been a victim of a number of pranks. everyone’s favorite were always the scary ones. while blaqk had no fears in pursuing his dreams - ghosts, demons, and bugs were not on the same path. if he could avoid them, he would. of course, he would occasionally indulge in a horror movie here or there, but real life situations were a very big no.  “how about... we don’t? we don’t and we save ourselves a possession. doesn’t that sound good? doesn’t that sound safe?”

“How about we do?” She asks, turning to the other female. The old lady's dog ran towards the house and they volunteered to retrieve the dog. They can't stop halfway. “Come on, stop being such a baby.” Grabbing the other female gently, tugging and guiding her towards the creepy house. “We'll just get the dog and get out. I swear.”

“I know,” he sighs and his bottom lip sticks out a little into the hint of a pout. He could barely feel his fingers when he had arrived earlier, but now he could slowly feel the warmth seeping back if only because of the tingly feeling that spread under his skin. He had pushed his palms and curled his fingers over the soft fabric of Eclipse’s sweater sleeve, and he had no doubt she could feel the cold through it. “I lost my mittens again. Maybe I should get one of those pairs meant for the kids, you know the one that have a string so you don’t lose them?”

yujin raises a brow at the other’s words. despite not getting along as splendidly as their respective grandfathers would like, yujin still felt the need to treat her well. and if well meant resisting the urge to pelt eclipse with snowballs, then he will do just that.

—next time, maybe, when he wasn’t feeling so mischievous.

a rare smile adorned his face as he packed the ice together with his bare hands, before throwing it at the girl’s arm. it hit her with a wet thud, and—well, yujin didn’t want to stay long enough to see her reaction.

“bye!” he yelled, mirth coloring his tone as he sprinted down the long driveway towards his car.
