i think my favourite non-sburb thing to think about would be how much the gang would enjoy watching movies together. and every week it would be someones turn to pick it. like this in theory means the kids would have to live close to one another. but pls imagine.

one week is johns turn, he chooses one of his shitty movies. obviously. its usually the same thing every once in a while bc the kid doesnt expand past his “favorites”.

now, dave? oh boy.. he chooses something ironic and so different each time (lets be real). nobody anticipates daves turn bc nobody ever knows whats going to get picked. one day its brokeback mountain, the next is sharknado and even once, he picked bambi.

rose chooses some gothic horror grotesque movie bc shes probably into that. youd think jade would get scared of it, but no. she gets into those horror movies and fuck it, shes even rooting for the monster/villain. she goes all out like “KILL THE TEENS” and everyone gets concerned.

and jade chooses... idk probably “alpha and omega”

(but i find it hard to believe none of the kids wouldnt like monty python, so those nights are usually their favorites bc they binge each one. personal fav is the holy grail.)
