I found some familiar faces in the line at the park. This is really cool, and I'm 100% certain that @lazyduchess's Lot Population mod is responsible for it.
My simself and Ktar bot heading to queue up for checkups! (Though Ktar is just along to keep me company... they obviously have no need for a doctor. Maybe they're curious about doctors though.)
I wanted to give Sharona's kitchen a bit of an upgrade, without making the area unrouteable, so I had to re-vamp their counters a bit. Left is the old kitchen, right is the new. I added a baker's station, a deep fryer, and a food processor.
Time to keep her familiar happy! He's adorable, and knows it!
The last member of the Saffron household (excepting pets), Nene. She's no relation to the Griselda or Marnie. In fact, she's a live-in babysitter/nanny. She's a bit of a spoiled girl from a rich family, and isn't best pleased that she's had to find a job in order to appease her uncle, who threatened to cut her off entirely if she didn't start earning a wage.
She's still quite a bit better as a caretaker for Marnie than the temporary babysitters who were coming and going previously.
I haven't yet been able to spend much time playing... but I did pay a brief visit to my 'main' family in my main save. Hiram, the once imaginary friend turned real kid was for some reason hanging out in the town center, so I sent him home!
This is Marnie, Griselda's adopted daughter.
(She was created using Ninae as a base, so if you see a resemblance... it's not a coincidence in the meta, but in-game she has no relation to Ninae... maybe a distance cousin of some sort?)
Marnie looks really determined about something. She's currently the only toddler in my main cast.
Hidden Springs really is a pretty world.
It hasn't been important enough for me to focus on it yet... but one of these days I will figure out what's wrong with Rubinio that they have a floating pixel. it's bugging me now...
