for the past thirty minutes, george has been doing keepy uppies and showing off his sick tekkers to absolutely no one. his efforts in recruiting a football team, advertised to all royals and their staff, had obviously fallen short. feeling a bit too ambitious, he flicks the ball up for a neck stall but it flies over him. “ heads! ” he shouts as he swivels round. @hshqstarters​

“ that person has been staring at you for the last five minutes... ”  she tilts her head in the direction of said person.  “ i mean,  they’re kind of cute,  but if they’re not your type we can totally find someone else. ”  ( @hshqstarters​​ )

“okay so there’s this really good bbq place just down the road, but they wont seat one person.” did that sound horribly pathetic? at this point, ireti didn’t particularly care. “how about you come with me? i’ll pay.” ( @hshqstarters​ )

          “  two inches to the left,  yes  --  right there !  ”     she flashes an absolutely pristine smile as her hand lowers from her eyes.     “  sorry,  the sun was catching all this body glitter and it’s blinding me a bit.  ”

“after the parade yesterday... i definitely know that a street party is not where i want to be.” she  will much rather do her melting on a beach, with a copious amount of sunscreen everywhere. definitely not in a sea of sweaty bodies and blaring music.

Sophie stiffened suddenly when a series of chimes sounded nearby, before realizing it was only a ringtone emitting from the pocket of a passerby and relaxing. “God. I thought that was the earthquake warning system for a millisecond—” she laughed, playing off her alarm. “Right off the plane and another one gets me. With my luck the earth’ll swallow me whole next time.”

“I’ve always found dancing so difficult.” Her eyes are glued on the people on the dance floor. “I can only waltz because it’s the one dance you have to be able to dance. But that---” With an open palm, she gestured towards the people with quick feet and a great sense of rhythm. “Looks just too difficult for me to even give it a try.” ( @hshqstarters​ )

being back in dubai was as exhilarating as it was exhausting. the plane trip alone was enough to make her want to curl up in her bed, let alone the mindless insincere condolences she seemed to follow her wherever she went. she’d finally collapsed onto her bed, only pausing to reacquaint herself with her apartment, when she heard someone knocking at the door. after wrapping a robe around her body, she padded downstairs to answer the door, internally berating herself for sending her staff off to their own apartments. she swung the door open, half shielding herself with it considering what she wore, “yes ?”
