Rai here I can understand but this has to be some kind of a record. When did you arrive again? And you, Noor, had a small holiday so it’s only natural you haven’t had the time for this.”

“So gentlemen...” Yo-Han started, as he poured each of them a glass of port --- a little alcohol wouldn’t hurt his chances with what he had in mind for the evening. “You ever thought about playing with the big boys? Calling the shots from within the UN?” He let the questions sink into them as he took a sip of the red wine. Given the current state of affairs, the UN’s reputation in the public eye had been diminishing due to it being seen as useless, and to be fair, he couldn’t blame them. But Yo-Han couldn’t stand to let all he had worked for just go out in a whimper; he was going to give it a fighting chance. In order to do so, he needed to bolster the ranks with some people who had been around, and the Plaza was the perfect head hunting spot. Still, he couldn’t easily expect the others to go along, so he prepared himself for a long evening. “Whatever it is you guys want, I can provide it for you... in exchange for your help that is.”

“Okay, girls, let me just do one last check up and we can get out this car,” Viveka exclaimed hurriedly --- she didn’t want anyone to open the car door before she had seen her reflection. “Just a sec,” she muttered and turned her head to see every inch of it in her tiny compact mirror. There were times when she had no shame, making other people wait for her while she tidied herself up was one of them. “Okay, okay, okay, let’s get going. Remember, making a good entrance is the most important thing. Though, it’s not like we need to even try,” she said with a wink and pushed the car door open. She put on her signature smile on her face and stepped out of the vehicle. “This night’s gonna be good, I can feel it.”

“My specialty is franzbrötchen and that’s where my skills end,” Kalla admitted putting her hands on her hips. The recipe in front of them already giving her a headache, she had never touched a dinner recipe much less one that could be labeled as challenging. She looked at the two people of her group. “Does either of you know how to deep fry the shrimps?” Her eyes automatically drafted towards the only staff member of the group, she had a slight hunch that the English might not have been too familiar with the process either. She was aware that this was a class she was attending but everything was a competition for her ---- she wanted their group to be the most successful. “Have you done anything like this before?”

Basically,” Gaia told the two people in the room. “I know nothing about self-defense, never had a class in my life, I haven’t even done kickboxing, so I’m a complete novice.” She hoped that the duchess was as helpless as she was. “I also hate pain, so there’s that.” She turned to look at the other woman. “Go easy on me, ok?”
