back when it was airing, blair was always the fan favorite. followed by chuck 😭 hence chair being the most popular couple. when dair happened, it got pretty popular too, so a real ship war was established!

people shipped derena a lot at first but it went down as seasons passed. a lot jumped into the van der baizen and into the serenate train. but serena wasn't a really popular character nor her ships.

dan... some hated him, some loved him. normally those who loved him shipped dair.

nate was pretty irrelevant. nair wasn't popular. serenate was popular bc of the njbc thing, mainly, but he wasn't hated lol except when he messed with chair i guess. he was mainly just there.

vanessa was hated for no reason 😭 (nowadays j get it, the racism, oh god). no one cared for nate and vanessa either hshsjs.

and jenny was, imo, meant to be a little villain, but i guess not many liked her as well. i liked her chaotic side. some people shipped nate and jenny, i guess.

so yeah that was pretty much it i think.

As you know, my long-time fic Right By Your Side is slowly coming to a close. I've received so much support with this story, and I highly appreciate every review I get!

That being said, I've noticed an increasing trend in my reviews, especially as the story reaches a climax, is often demanding that the next update comes as soon as possible. I don't think that's your intention, but it often comes across that way.

I love that you're so enthusiastic about the story, but I need to ask you to please be patient. Along with all the chaos of my life outside of the internet (can you believe I have one??), this story is also incredibly emotionally taxing to write. It deals with very heavy subject matter and, especially now, at the climax, it's hard to write for a long sitting.

I promise, promise, promise that I will not be abandoning this story, especially with only two or three chapters left, but it may take longer than you expect.

I'm very sorry. I'm doing my best, but I'm only human. Much love ♡♡♡
