In light of the long awaited Fables About the Stars Part 2 trailer, I will do a little introduction on the JP localization of the Lord Ravagers!
To start from the very beginning, the Path of Destruction is called 壊滅の運命 (kaimetsu no unmei). 運命/unmei (literally "fate/destiny") is the Japanese term for "Path", and 壊滅 (kaimetsu) means "destruction", or more specifically "annihilation".
A Lord Ravager is called a 絶滅大君 (zetsumetsu taikun), literally meaning "Lord of Extinction". In fact, 絶滅 (zetsumetsu) is the ecological term for the extinction of a species.
There are six Lord Ravagers known by name: Asat Pramad, Celenova, Irontomb, Phantylia, Sun Devourer and Zephyro. From now on, I'll discuss their JP names:
Asat Pramad: Dice head guy, named 帰寂 (Kijaku) in Japanese. It's a combination of 帰/ki (return) and 寂/jaku, a Buddhist term for death.
Celenova: jigsaw puzzle lady, named 星嘯 (Seishou) in Japanese. It's a combination of 星/sei (star) and 嘯/shou (roar, howl).
Irontomb: might or might not be the true nature of Amphoreus' black tide, named 鉄墓 (Tetsubo) in Japanese. It's really just a combination of 鉄/tetsu (iron) and 墓/bo (tomb), lmao.
Phantylia: needs no introduction, named 幻朧 (Genrou) in Japanese. It's a combination of 幻/gen (illusion, phantasm) and 朧/rou (haze, gloom).
Sun Devourer: that black cloud with an eye. They're called 太陽を呑む獣/taiyou wo nomu kemono (Beast Who Devours the Sun) in Japanese.
Zephyro: guy with light sword, named 風焔 (Fuuen) in Japanese. It's a combination of 風/fuu (wind) and 焔/en (flame).
