mydei here. i dont really intend any other chrysos heirs to see this, because its extremely unlike me, but i think it was fear that i was feeling. i wasnt afraid during the trial itself, but it was the idea of what came after. i knew i could never be the king my people wanted, but it wasnt easy, disappointing them all for the second time. ultimately, i feel it was best to demolish the brutal cycle of kingship with me. mortals shouldnt have need for strife the way our people used to.

thankfully, i no longer feel that fear. i just needed to get this out.

I miss my sister. Having a tiny digital version of her in a game isn’t much, but I do find a way to fit her on every team I have, and I keep the music up so I can hear her sing. It wasn’t easy back home, either, when I ended up leaving Penacony… as much as I realized it was something that had to happen, and as much as I was thankful for being able to say goodbye; Robin, if you’re out there, you are still loved from my side of the world.

For the canon comforts, it was surprisingly common for me, March 7th, Stelle and, later on, Sunday to just have a giant cuddle pile when the Horrors™ got too much,,

Sunday and Stelle were surprisingly soft and warm :)

for canon snoozing, cuddle pile on nights where blade and i were healthy enough/mentally able to handle it (he didn't like physical touch at times), and on other nights we'd sleep in the same room but scattered about,, kafka was usually at the bottom of the cuddle pile because she liked the pressure and being able to keep us all in one spot :}
