They would be, but the problem was that Daniel got attached to Adam (which you'll see later on in An Eye For An Eye), and Lucifer couldn't risk another attempt at an antichrist becoming attached in turn and turning against him. Easiest way to fix that was to remove Daniel from Adam and make Witness supervise the kid instead 👍
