Manwha: How to hate mate
K so I just finished reading Hyo the Hellmaker by Mina Ikemoto Ghosh, and. Um. Wow. Just, wow--
IT WAS SO FREAKING AMAZING AND AWESOME AND LOVELY AND FANTASTIC I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
The world building is PHENOMENAL, especially the way we're slowly introduced to this beautiful and interesting world is so natural, no info dumps, just giving you the information and trusting you to understand and make piece everything together.
Honestly, its been a while since I enjoyed a book this much, and im talking the kind of enjoying where Im carrying this book (which weighs a LOT--500 page hardcover 💀) everywhere I go and reading it at every opportunity, even sneaking in a chapter before going to bed!
Tbh this is mostly my own fault cuz I've been reading this trashy series mostly cuz of a bet I made w/ myself + the sunk cost fallacy (just one more to go then im DONE UGHHH 😭😭😭) and the fact that im not finding enough books of my taste (honestly I wish I could just go browse through a middle school library, those have the good stuff (shout out to The Tyme Series)) AND me reading a ton of fanfics. Le sigh.
I low key wished it wouldnt end cuz of how awesome it is. Luckily, there are still some loose ends and an open ending + the author said that she's working on the 2nd book! Hopefully in a year or so 🙏
In conclusion: READ HYO THE HELLMAKER!!!
