in the human au... can... can I get away with just letting Phyre be Phyre or do I have to give a last name lol.

If I have to give a last name for specifically Phyre then they are getting some random generic surname like Smith or something (I specify Phyre specifically because like... even in this au Phyre isn't their current legal name. They still stole it off a poster lol.)

Like I'm sure having just one name is a pain in the ass but so is having no name so...

Mrs. Thorn always on the defense cause Safia keeps sending her very strange things to fulfill that usually end in a phone call like yeah I'm not filling that. Why? Because it doesn't make any sense, check again.

She can still own her cafe. Maybe its open primarily on the weekends, with it being opened at late night hours on the weekday.

Also new thought after the dlc but for the human au have people mispronounce Phyre's (Fire's) name as Phyre (Fear). Mostly people who think they named themselves after the album only for Phyre to be like "wtf are you talking about. "

Everyone thinking the meaning behind Phyre must be so deep and personal and interconnected for them, only for it to just be the first thing they saw and could read after waking up 😭

hmm looking through some of my drafts and I have a few write ups for the human au. There's one on Safia and Phyre's relationship in the au and I remembered why I didn't publish it as I was trying to figure out how to... go about writing about it.

Since in this human au, uh, Safia is very much abusing her authority/abusing Phyre throughout. And I'm trying to find the best words to describe exactly what she does.

And I'm also trying to find the best words to describe like... the positive things she does for Phyre since they would/should have a pretty complex relationship. 110% toxic yes. But also indepth.

Like she is absolutely crossing professional boundaries and ethical standards to get what she wants. And I think a part of her justifies it in her head cuz Phyre can be a pretty major dick at times so she's just cashing in on her "good deeds"

I also feel like Phyre is also taking some advantage of Safia's treatment of them. They don't know why she's giving them special treatment or to what extent this is given but if they can get out if doing things then fine by them. Some of their wants are pretty out there and probably not safe to do but hey, we're not gonna know unless we do it right?

so yeah Phyre/Safia in this au is still extremely toxic. Though I will say I do feel like I have made it more one sided just due to the nature of the human au. Like for real as a medical professional obviously you should be maintaining boundaries with your patients and work to ensure everything you do for them is for their benefit.

Especially cuz in this au Phyre has a harder time advocating for themselves considering the very intense situation they are caught up in.

Uh... is that enough disclaimers? Disclaimer for this au it depicts intense medical/emotional/and probably financial abuse along with a few other things.

Idk like I said I need to go through the write up and edit it some to better describe what I'm thinking of. I also want to just do a write up of Safia and all of her deals going on.

Phyre in the human au don't be blinking. Combined with them not looking into people's eyes they very often just looked dazed. I think they also just have decreased peripheral vision as well, so they very often also look slightly paranoid.
