Imagine taking the adventure vibe of Johnny Quest and adding more supernatural elements. That’s the main vibe throughout the show. - Story, (7/10): The story is mostly the Saturdays encountering a monster of the week while trying to find & study the Kur Stone on understand the connection between Kur and other cryptids. Upon rewatch I was surprised about the small handful of twist that did happen and it was enough keep me invested then and now. - Character, (6.5/10): The characters are fairly balanced. - No nonsense Dad. - Badass Mom. - Son that bites off more than he can chew. - A small herd of family pets. - Literal monster of the week and reoccurring villains. - Art, (6.5/10): Average. There’s not too much to the style that stands out, but it was stable. - Overall, (7/10): It’s a solid show that just randomly come to mind sometimes. It may be a bit on the average side compared to shows now, but it’s still an underrated show in Cartoon Network’s long list of shows. - - - 1st-2nd pics: official show pics 4th pic: J.
