my httyd sona!!! inspired by the lovely @r8zzzs :3 he's an aspiring ecologist, though his main focus is learning about how the dragons interact with other animals (it cant Just be predation!!) He goes on little adventures to take notes discover new things, but his clumsy ass disturbs the animals more often than not :p

he doesn't have a dragon of his own but hes always happy to stop and pat any that comes his way, and has a special soft spot for terrible terrors and other more common dragons that get over looked :-)

Rewatched into the woods again sketching this. Dude the costume design was so awesome. Anyway yes uhm I redesigned him a little gulps I KNOWWW I KNOW "MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!" IM TRYING OKAY the last design was too twiggy and too similar to hiccup so I thought I might just self indulge and make him a bit bulkier. He's like three years younger than the gang perchance IDK MAYBE IDK I wanted him to be gender ambiguous in the previous design but ig it doesn't come across that well anymore in this one but that's fine

Design notes!

- the wool hood is harnessed by the belt on the chest

- wears a pair of gloves below the leather pads

- small braid on the left side of his head gets braided down into a bigger and short braid at the back

- huginn and muninn motifs!!! Kinda. Less ravens but more just birds is general but there're two bird skulls on his younger design and the emblem on his belt in his current design yups. And the nadders' feathers. The younger design really's just unnecessary but I thought it'd be fun.

Httyd self insert/sona

made one (or in this case specifically a remake,,of my old sona for this franchise) because my partner has been really liking httyd lately @r8zzzs so <3333

Her name is SpottyCinder Haldirsdottir,,, because there can't be too many silly names going around in this franchise especially. Her hairstyle is terribly inspired by frigga/mcu,,,okay? BECAUSE at some point or another I yume her.

this was supposed to be part of a bigger post i was planning to make on my insta, but it's going to take me a while to finish the rest of the pieces i have in mind (bc i enjoy making myself suffer) so i decided to share this over here until i'm done. also i was maybe thinking on doing an introduction post for lots (rider) butttttt that's gonna take a while. hope you like them (my shaylas) and don't mention the background because it's one of my first times finishing one :p

i don't know if the quality is going to be shit, i hope not :(
