HU12 Appreciation Post

Words cannot express how truly lucky I am to be part of such an amazing, talented and unique class. We’ve only been together for a short period of time, but I am thankful for every single one of you and for every moment we shared as a class. From the instant we got together during ORSEM, I knew that this class, our class, would be memorable. And I was right.

Last June, something terrible happened in my life. My mom passing away was very difficult for me. I felt like giving up, but you guys where there for me. You visited me, gave me encouraging and comforting messages. You guys made me laugh and for a brief moment, made me forget the pain I was feeling. I was surprised that you did all those things. Given the fact that not all you were my former classmates, not all of you knew the problems I was dealing with. Even when we all just knew each other for a few weeks, you guys were there for me. You all made me feel that everything was going to be alright. 

I may not be close to every single one of you, but all of you made a lasting impact in my life. I’ll never forget you guys, all your quirks and traits that I find endearing. You made my grade 11 days fun, enjoyable and unforgettable and I am truly thankful for that. 

Our class may not be perfect, we have had our ups and downs, but we always get through it. At some point, we weren’t a class anymore. We’re a family. A family that loves and supports one another. 

I wish nothing but the best for every single one of you. You guys are all amazing, wonderful, talented and all the positive things I could describe you guys. I truly am grateful, lucky and thankful I got to spend time with you all. I hope we’d spend more time together in the near future. 

This is goodbye for now. And I can’t wait for our next hello. See you guys, hopefully soon.
