Russet-naped Wren (Campylorhynchus humilis) by Richard Jack Via Flickr: The Russet-naped Wren is a resident bird endemic to western Mexico. It is boldly marked, with various amounts of rufous and black on the head and nape, a conspicuous brown eye stripe contrasting with white above and below, and a patterned brown and whiteish tail and wings. Russet-naped Wren occurs in relatively dry habitats ranging from open forest and woodlands to scrub and secondary growth. Russet-naped Wren forages actively for invertebrates such as spiders and other insects in low vegetation and along branches. Huatulco OAX Mexico
