While we have been working on the guardrails and stairs, we have also been installing the four 10′ diameter Essence fans that were donated to the project by Big Ass Fans, a company specializing in very large industrial fans!
At the same time we also installed just a few of the 26 LXEM 8′ LED Outdoor Lights that were donated by a few kind folks from Hubbell Lighting!
We installed the fan and lights in order to test what height the lights should be at to prevent a flickering effect when the fan is turned on! Sometimes if the lights are too high above the fan, when the fan is on, the light will flicker which would be very distracting for students trying to work on construction projects under the Fabrication Pavilion.
